This blend, with its mellow grassy undertones and sweet raspberry notes, is one of our most soothing greens yet. This Raspberry tea is based on a Sencha style, traditional pan fired green China tea. In green manufacture, the freshly plucked leaves are steamed or heated to prevent oxidization and then bruised either by machine or hand. Next the leaf is pan-fried or basket fired - a process that gives the tea its distinctive glossy looks and feel. Sencha typically has dark green, needle shaped leaves and produce a pale green to yellow, very bright and smooth cup with a sweetish, honey like finish. A refreshing raspberry cup with smooth green tea notes, Raspberry pieces, and natural flavours. Antioxidant level high. Caffeine level medium.
Bring water to 160 to 180F. 1 tsp per 6 oz cup. Infuse for 3-4 minutes.
